JOGL Network Docs

For community owners & admins

Run a community on JOGL Network — from creation to enrichment, events, and integrations.

This section is for people who own or administer a community: creating it, building the roster, enriching member profiles, tuning search, running events, reading analytics, and connecting integrations.

The admin console

Open a community you administer and you land on its admin console (the community page itself, at /community/<id>). Members without admin rights see a "no permission" message instead. The console has eight tabs:

TabWhat it doesDocumented in
GeneralLogo, name, description, visibility, AI data processing, and the danger zoneCreate & configure
PeopleThe profile roster: add, invite, import, claim, merge, enrich, and remove membersMember management
EnrichmentSmart Enrich runs, publication refresh, and run historyEnrichment

PermissionsWhich profiles non-admin members can find in searchSearch tuning

EventsCreate events, connect ticketing platforms, manage attendeesEvents

Analytics and the member map are not admin tabs: every member can open them from the community's People page (Signals and Map tabs) or at /community/<id>/analytics. Billing lives in your own Settings → Billing, not in the community console.

Owner vs. admin

Almost everything in the console is available to both owners and admins. The differences are:

  • Transfer ownership — owner only (platform admins can also do it).
  • Delete the community — owner only, and only once the community is archived. An owner of the owning organization can delete it too.
  • Add members (the roster's Added immediately control) — platform admins only; everyone else invites. Community admins can still bring people in without an acceptance step through a CSV or CRM import or an event guest import — those create profiles directly.

An owner or admin of the organization that owns a community is automatically an admin of that community. See Organizations.
