Projects

Projects are your workspace for organizing what you find. A project holds the profiles you save, the searches you file under it, and any teams you save from a Deep Search. Open them from the sidebar: the entry reads Projects inside a community and My projects in All my network.

Creating a project

Choose Create Project (or the New project card), give it a name (for example Potential Collaborators), an optional description, an icon, and a color. You can also create a project on the fly from the search composer's project selector (New project), or from New project in the window that opens when you save a profile.

Adding to a project

• Profiles — use Save to a project on a search result or a people card, Save all to a project on a set of results, or the Save bookmark on a profile page. You can pick one or more projects at once.
• Searches — pick the project in the composer before you search, or file an existing chat under a project from the sidebar's chat menu (Add to project).
• Teams — after a Deep Search with team composition, Save team stores the team in the project. A saved team keeps a link to the search it came from (View original search), and saving it files that search under the same project.

A project page has three tabs: Associated searches (your own chats filed under it), Saved profiles, and Saved teams. Its Settings hold Custom instructions and Project context for the searches you run in it, and Search in this project starts one there. The project's ⋯ menu also holds Edit details (name, description, icon, color) and Delete, and Analyze, on the Saved profiles tab, opens a chat about the profiles saved there.

A project belongs to the community you were in when you created it, or to All my network. Within a community, Projects shows that community's projects plus the ones made for all your communities.

Sharing a project

Share, on the project page or in its card's menu, lets the project's owner share it with their connections so they can add profiles too. The person receives an invitation in their messages and can Accept or Decline; once accepted, the project appears in their own list marked Shared by and the owner's name, and they are listed under Collaborators. If one of the two later blocks the other, the share ends, even one still waiting for an answer, and its invitation reads No longer available to both of them (see blocking a member).
